In addition to TVs in the great room and den, each of the 6 bedrooms at 'Ellington Cottage by the Sea' has a TV. There are also DVD players and VCRs in the great room, den and 3 bedrooms including the master.
The new Jennette's Pier, opened May of 2011, is just a short walk up the beach. This state of the art facility will be great for traditional fishing as well as sightseeing. Guests will also be able to enjoy the educational facilities which include exhibits and demonstrations of alternative energy. The Old Nags Head style pier house will also feature food choices as well as a tackle shop and gift shop.
There are many location advantages of "Ellington Cottage by the Sea", a short walk will take you to "Sam and Omies" a Nags Head landmark restaurant, "Owens" which has been in business for over 60 years and are known for their excellent seafood ,"Fat Boyz" for delicious burgers, fresh crabcake and tuna sandwiches and the best ice cream concoctions around, "Cahoons" a general store for groceries and beach supplies. One block over on the bypass road are the popular Tanger Outlets. The street side of the cottage provides you with a view of the Roanoke sound's fabulous sunsets as well as the bridge to Manteo in the distance.

Beds: 4 Queen, 1 bunk with trundle and 1 Pyramid Bunk. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.
